Why you need to replace HP Pavilion Slimline keyboard?

Why you need to replace HP PAVILLION Keyboard ?
Black, slim and lots of keypads to control vista. Not a bad design, really. Wondering if the CPU will actually burn someday. It is extremely quiet making you wonder how does it do it. Put a sleep button besides the most used key and you are done saving the cpu! Is that why every time i reach for escape, my finger reaches for the long sleep key, darn it!. Why do you have to put that sleep button so close to escape key?
Guys, if you are like me, throw that useless keyboard, use the regular one. By adding a new design not always gives the comfort to users but gives the comfort of promoting a product to our corporate giants, yes, here they go, your awesome HP comes with a new keyboard. But we will not tell you that you will need to get used to using it! So there!
keyboards are cheap, so they included with the cpu package. If they had put the sleep button where its a bit hard to reach, you would also would not growle at your pets like kitten or dog who do enjoy sitting on the keyboard once in a while to watch youtube, well if you happen to be going to make a cup of tea or bathroom with Computer on!
The other thing is they moved the insert key somewhere else. Its about time that designers stick to one layout that remains a standard keyboard so it does not kill our time spent only on getting used to a keyboard, let alone learning about the new vista which is on our new computer.
That’s all from me for the day, i will put a photo of the keyboard when i get back home. Right now, i am shooting a silly video out here in the jungle. When it got too hot, came here to dump my anger. See ya!
I am back home guys, here are the pics that I wanted to show you
If you are used to old keyboard, reaching for even Esc or ! might put your PC to Sleep!, see image below

Home, End, Delete, PageUp, PageDown, but no Insert. Need to get used to it. Generally, this was the standard keyboard, where the End key would be at the second row, look here, its’ gone up! Why ? Dump this keyboard, its crappy…

I dumped the one that came, went to walmart and got the regular keyboard for good price. I agree with you, the designer must be someone who sleeps alot!!!! LOL!!

I am not sure what you mean B166ER, do you need a driver for this keyboard, is that it ?
Based on my knowledge you don’t need this. VISTA should have this installed automatically for you. Were you asking something else in another post or am I getting it wrong. Would nice to hear back from you.
Cheers!

One heck of a Great Tip!
We can always use the windows Start->Shutdown->Sleep to put PC to sleep mode that way. Thanks AM

God I hate my slim computer. It has horrid key detection even when I replaced the keyboard. It especially LOVES to lock the arrow keys. DO NOT GET THE CHEAP SLIM ITS USELESS!!!
