Politics is Politics Dirty or Clean Be It In Developed Countries

I was born in a poor nation, later as my age went up, I learned that my country was under the umbrella of developing nation. It’s a surprise to me that even after 3 decades, the country is still a poor nation.
I got some oppertunities to see some parts of this world, once for two years in Australia and Twice in America; where I am right now. Having seen dirty politics, human right abuses, and you name it — only in my country, but the politics seems to be same wherever you go.
I thought it is only in poor nations. I have been proven wrong.
Back in Australia, it was about 10 years ago, I guess. I didn’t see much of it or not did I care. Some fellow named John Howard had won the election, it was kind of peaceful and somewhat clean then what I am seeing here in America. Even the selection of candidate was calm, perfect, no finger pointing and candidates were more talking about their quality than backfiring on each other.
Now here in the United States, Election is in November and the Republican Party has already put their candidate as the nominee, Mccain, while Democratic party is taking more than the usual time to decide on a candidate to pair with him.
Every Tuesday is almost like a super bowl here, this country’s most watched game that is know as football (not the soccer guys, although the game is pretty much relies on hands).
Two candidates, Obama and Hillary have made this selection processs, historical, nostalgic, and have changed the way you could play politics as dirty as dirt only in the process of picking one candidate and making sure that candidate is better than the other to win the election. Only recently they have talked about issues instead of fighting with words.
Campaigns over here are huge in big cities only, I guess. There was one here in North Carolina, none of the parties didn’t even come to a small place like Shelby, do they care about only big pie, big popullation although their speech talks issues for you, me and everybody.
Campaigns mean money. In poor countries, they raise by threat or force. Here, Internet and public appearance on national TV shows briefly spelling the website they own are some style.
I have noticed that, soon after Obama’s momentum started, TV networks mixed their discussion tables with black and white, male and female. When Hillary own Texas, they added more female anchors. In a country where even saying “Black” or “White” would be difficult for TV networks, it’s become easier now, they talk about it all the time. Just recently, CNN’s anchor Andorson Cooper’s program had a few guys giving insight. A guy said, something like this, “Oh, she is with all white crowds”
Democratic party has divided people while, these days each of the running candidate talk about uniting America. Well, American wasn’t divided at all, they have divided. Is that what they mean? I am kind of confused.
Even Bush, who should be finishing his term cleanly gets in the dirty politics with recent notion that he attacked Obama as if he is already the winner. Americans are really getting the election fever and so is the Bush.
You can really smell dirty politics even in a developed country like this? I guess politics is politics every where you go on this planet. How to win election? Pull other’s leg, shout, scream, talk less about yourself, get media coverage even if it means break a few eggs on your head and say he or she did it, talk about everything that people will want to hear.
If you were running for a president, shouldn’t you be introducing to the people about who you are and what you are going to do. Ok. There is TVs, but everyone knows not all American’s own TVs yet. Ok. There is youtube.com, again, we all can doubt every American knows about it. Have any of the parties done enough to bring their voices to the people of this nation ? It is a question that should be answered.
A few weeks ago, I asked some customers in a restaurant where I work. Here are some of their replies and some of them make me sad.
Is Hillary running for president?
Who is Obama?
If obama wins I won’t for her
mccain? He is old though.
If She wins I won’t vote for him
Can they not be on the same ticket
I have never voted. They should first ask me before out country goes to war and they didn’t ask me.
I don’t know whom to pick. I will vote for all of spend day skiing somewhere…..
I don’t vote, cause every Government is useless.
Do you watch CNN? (I don’t have money for Cable or Satellite TVs)
Do you use Internet. Yeah, but its old, I only use it to send emails to my friends. Do you read news? No way! Why are you asking me all these questions. (I am sorry)
Well, Politics is Politics, it’s a relation and will surely be dirty like our lives; divorce, marriage, cheating, and so on. But it’s more…. It’s for P O W E R
Politics is for POWER, that’s the true definition I guess. And a Politician will do everything to get that power.
Well, talk to you soon you all.

Wondering about my prediction and desire :
(OBAMA + Hillary) or (Hillary + OBAMA ) that would put both of them in the White house otherwise Mccain will have to do nothing. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the votes coming in from unhappy supporters of either OBAMA or Hillary.
