How to Rent Movies in store quickly?
Aug 1, 2008 Movies
a snapshot – site showing movies by rental ranks and more…
There’s nothing like the joy of going to a movie store then the virtual movie rental websites.
In store, it feels like you are there, small TV screens are showing previews, friendly employees can point you to the direct cabinet to pick one, and often they can help you even select one!
There is the signboard listing new releases which can also help you pick new ones.
And even the smell of popcorns – which are in a sealed bags makes you feel like you are already in a Theater. You could be thirsty, there is a drinking a water or you could grab a soda from the machine. It’s like you have all the movies in your home!
Nothing can replace the atmosphere of movie store, although more and more people are renting movies online – perhaps because they don’t have time to goto store, or they like convenience.
Some stores may close early and some stay a bit longer like midnight.
When you don’t have time or you don’t want to be disappointed by watching a movie you carried home, there is help. If you have a phone with Internet Access, you can goto a website and hurry up in your selection process.
One good source every pouch-potatoes should know is the following address:
Once you go through the list shown by the above address,
you can easily narrow down the list; making it easier to pick one and head straight home.
What’s most rented is often the best. But look for titles listed below. If you like action, see action movie. If you like Drama, find the same. Find titles that suits to your Movie-Taste.
For more than once, that particular resource has helped me pick the best new releases.
And I haven’t been dissapointed.
If you don’t carry mobile device, you can print the list from your desktop, then carry it along with you to the store.
Well, let me know if you grabbed the new release in less than 5 minutes and walked out of the store. As for me, I still can’t leave the atmosphere of a rental store. The more I look around, the more I get confused, which one should I get. This or that. Sooner or later, I have like 5 to 7 movies in hand and knowing that my work days need good night sleep, it’s impossible to watch that many per week. It’s also hard to discard some. Have you had similar expereince ?
A while back, I rented a movie in less than 5 minutes, it was during those closing hours. I happen to be inside the store “Blockbuster” and they are about to close. The resource I listed above helped me pick 3 movies within 5 minutes, and every money I picked was best of the best.
Thanks for reading, Hope you rent and watch some nice films this week…

3 Iron
film review, film by Kim Ki-Duk, Korea
I watched this one this week, well a couple of times; highly addictive! What a classic movie it is; no dialogs yet great story and directing. Wonder how many movies are there where the viewers are left to watch characters perform without moving their lips? But actors and actress will tell you a story that you have never heard of and they will do it to the edge. Movie takes a while, so don’t be tempted to stop watching if you find it a bit slow first. The ending is just superb where the guy kisses his true lover and inbetween lies her husband.
3 Iron is a great love story with suspense and suprises – every lover should watch this film. I recommed you watch it without knowing much about the movie.
The Return Movie – a Russian Film You Can’t Afford to Miss!

The Return Movie – a Russian Film You Can’t Afford to Miss!
It’s not always easy to pick which foreign film is my number one but this one comes very very close to becoming one. It is by far the most inspiring, staggiring, enlightening, and a dramatic foreign movie I have ever seen. It is beautifully and brilliantly crafted movie you can’t afford to miss.
Movie in Brief : The Return is a Psychological Thriller from Russia, directed by Andrey Zvyagintsev, 106 mins in length, Winner of Golden Globe Best Foreign Film.
Main actors:
Two kids: Valamidir Garin (Andrey), Ivan Dobronravov (Ivan)
Konstantin Lavronenko (Father) and Natalya Vidovina (Mother)
If you love movies where acting is expression more than dialogs, where the story starts from the bottom of your heart and never ends, where every second is like an unfolding present, this is your movie. Buy or rent one today, you won’t regret it.
Two brothers, one younger and the other a little older embark on a journey of their life-time with their dad, who, only enters into their life after 12 years of Disappearance. Grown up by their mother’s love, kids hoping to learn about their new dad and the meaning of father, soon discover amazing twists after they leave their home for a fishing trip to a remote island. Then, something unthinkable happens on the island.
Except for a few minutes of the film, all story is told by two brothers without using a single voice. If I had to give awards to kids; these two would get it. Their acting performance is stunning, they will leave you breathless. Movie has moments of happiness as well as sad.
What I really enjoyed the most about this film is the Direction. This is a one hell of Director. It is easier to tell a story by voice, it is another by expressions from the characters. This movie made me wonder there could be many great Directors who are not living in Hollywood. Also the story writter has done amazing job in this film; there will not be a single moment where you could say, what is this?
My personal best moments in the film is everything, but the last scene where the kids push the boat, the slow shoot from the roof of the tank to reveal where their Dad resided, the little kid sitting by the bridge in heavy rain left alone, and the scene where they learn their dad is coming home, are some great scenes that will live in my heart.
Guys, that’s all. Watch this movie and tell me what you think. I have tried to not tell you the whole story, so you can enjoy the suprises it brings. When you finish watching the movie, would you please share some of your best moments.
Till next time,
Ruben.
Night at The Museum The Movie – a Review

Night at The Museum The Movie – a Review
This is Ben Stiller’s Best Performance Ever. Thin story line yet how do you stretch it and entertain everyone; dads mums and kids all watching together? You need, Shawn Levy. There are 3 nights full of laughs, the movie could have been nights at the zoo, had the director been someone else!
Movie Brief : 2006, video release: Apr 2007, 1 hr 48 mins, PG, Comedies,
If you are creative, you can imagine, this is your movie. It is not only for kids. In fact, I strongly believe adults will enjoy this movie even more.
Learn Everything about the movie here http://www.nightatthemuseum.com/
The moments you will keep in your heart are : The final dance Party, The first Night at the museum, the tour guide who gives a smile when she witnesses “the night” when Larry becomes True, The monkey who loves stealing keys… There are so many great moments in this film. Rent or buy one today.
Cons : Failed to be G – good for every one, some scenes could have been deleted such as the toy-car explosion, fighting could have been made easier on the eyes of kids, rude language could have been avoided. Perhaps its not all that easy to please everyone. If you love history, fun, and laughing, or just some creativity, this is your movie 4 and 1/2 stars.
