When I am free, my mind goes wild — for thinking about what not and everything is all I do and it keep me happy. But often, filming yourself–i.e. acting, directing and creating a film calls for limited characters and story is often either your work place or at home. Story with limited characters is easy to film.

Since I am working like crazy, I thought i share a few of them so perhaps they become a film for your next youtube project.

Story 1. Global warming and Comedy : – What’s hot stays hot– well, at least for a while. Making a movie with a mixture of this could be interesting and fun. Put humor in the mix plus empower/educate the public about Global Warming.

Story 2. Lunatic – buy some wings and do some lunatic type of video but keep the positive aspect of it. You could be one of the greatest lunatic yet have the greatest ideas to change this world.

Story 3 : Create a suspense at the beginning, then reveal it at the end. Use any ideas here, say like you are showing a bag that looks like liquor wrapped in a paper bag, later reveal to the audience that it is nothing but a GREEN BANANA – hoping it will rip faster by wrapping this way.

Story 4 : Make a comedy of movies. I know many youtubers have done this. It’s fun and comedy is always the #1 on youtube. What do you think ? Mind you though, this will require perhaps dual role if you are the only character to perform as other characters.

Story 5 :  Create a nature video. It’s easy and you don’t need to ask anyone. Nature is all around you. Take photos or video using your camcorder, then use video editing software, mix with some music. When using music, you could do the audio swap that youtube allows so you don’t have to worry about copyright issues. For free music, it’s best to create yourself. There are tons of software out there but my recommended one is FruityLoops and Magix Music Maker. Just google them and buy some audio packs which consists of beats like drums etc which you can use to create your own music. Another simple but a bit costly ideas is buy a budget piano. Create something yourself – don’t try to copy. How ? Forget about all kinds of music you are listening, just follow your natural instinct. Perhaps that can help. Also try the freesound.org site which has bunches of FREE music you can use with some limitations such as attributions for creator etc.

Story 6 :  Like playing games ? Record it and share it. But be careful about doing a lot of this since you are using someone’s copyrighted material again. I would write to the company and explain them what kind of video you are making, perhaps they will give you permission and hey you might make the best film from it.

Story 7 :  Show bad and good side of two characters,  make them look bad at times but good at times but at the end, let the viewers decide if they really where bad. What I mean by bad and good, could be positive or negative.

Story 8 : Make a travel video. This is one of the easiest thing to do but a few things will need to be noted. How are you going 2 mount your camcorder ? You will need some help on this. Just google for accessories. I’ve heard many people have made great video using  just duct tapes. But I would be weary if my $600 HD camcorder goes flying somewhere for a 10 second of a video. LOL !!

Story 9 : Create videos about Youtube itself. Use screen recording software like Camstudio (which is free). You could show what youtube could become in 2012 or something like that. Just use a bit of your web design skills and it shouldn’t be hard. If you need help, commment below.

Story 10 :  Have a pet. People like pet videos. But you could use them as characters. It’s always the story that counts. If you don’t have a story, don’t worry. Take lots of far, closeup videos of your pets such as birds, cats and go through them and see if you can create a film out of it. You might be surprised – they act when they want and not when you want !

A Nepali Youtube Channel Celebrates With Joys!

It’s been over six months of love with Youtube. Never knew that a single video could make all the difference! k6yarfilms’s youtube channel receives #67 Today’s most watched (Directors) honor. While such honors don’t remain static, but it sure is an motivational boost indicator. I along with the entire crew of k6yarfilms are celebrating today hoping to present even better videos to you all. When I have time, I will organize the videos so it’s much easier for you to browse at the channel.

We don’t have fancy equipments, not even a tripod. And most of our videos are made without even the script and videos recorded using a budget camcorder. Hoping someone will donate stuffs like tripod or similar stuffs, and we will credit you for your kind help. There is a long way to go, yet its worth putting a smile on our faces. This channel has some videos promoting Nepal as well. I hope it makes some of us Nepalese proud to have a channel that also promotes our beautiful country Nepal

Video shares sites have allowed anyone to show their work. They have proven that You don’t need go to Hollywood or Bollywood to show your talent. Thank you youtube and its users for watching our scriptless, low budget videos and yet motivating us to do better in the days ahead. We are amazed and speechless, really!

If used wisely Internet can be a whole new world. How do married couples use Internet? Do they fight when one of them views offensive materials ? I have never had to face any such situation, but I know that we can count Internet as the culprit for many broken marriages. But again, we can count the same for creating new ones. We have like match.com and many other Internet sites that create new marriages.

How do you use Internet? say you are married. Do you pick some sites not to visit, do you decide not to use messengers such as yahoo or msn. Should a family rule create marriages alive giving everyone the freedom to use Internet, visit all sorts of sites.

Internet, if used wisely can be good, if not, bad. That was my view. What’s yours ?

I wrote a post here to help others who have budget camcorder like mine which has no optical zoom and focus. The thing to do, get yourself a cheap magnifying glass. Look thought it, and when the object looks crisp clear, mark that distance. Then attach your camcorder’s lens right close to the magnifying glass. Now there! A perfect shot is read. Look at the movies under k6yar.com’s nature videos, all are done using a camcorder which costs less than $150

I wanted to write this post again, since someone posted a comment in my youtube channel that I must have at least $500 worth camcorder to get those shots. He/She, after reading this and of course my comment there will realize that is not the true

Youtube is not television. Even if your lenses has scratches or the magnifying glasses full of scratches and dirts, you will hardly notice it ! But remember : The quality depends on how many objects you have on your video and how you are shooting it; lesser the objects, colors, shapes, shades, and all sorts, the better the video looks. Nobody has donated a tripod to me, but if you can afford it, please get one! You will notice a whole lot improvement in quality. Because our hands can’t replace a tripod.

Dig inside this blog to find a post that talks about how to make a your video look great on you tube. Sample these videos; all are shoot using the help of a magnifying glass. It’s a bit difficult, but it’s fun; at least I think so…

It’s nice to have a $1K or even $5K camcorder, but if you love saving money, you better get hold of Magnifying glasses

My recommendation for camcorder is Flip, it’s affordable, works great. No software required to install. Just shoot, plug it in and transfer. You can also watch it on TV. Stores up to 60 minutes of videos, a large 640×480 resolution, above 4000K bit rates and 30fps; nothing can beat that requirement for the price you pay! Oh well, put it in your wallet or tear… ops, don’t don’t do the tearing part though. sometimes your bill shows up duplicate entires, or things you never bought, the tech driven industry still has glitches, so better keep your receipts in a safe place to defend!

If you have credit cards, but you’ve got a lot of money in the bank, then there is something wrong. Burn your credit cards, right now!

Photos never look the name when you are on the ground, sometime you gotta take that risk.. climb… may using a helicopter. But when your wallet has a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG whole, the only option is your legs!

I climbed this pine tree to take some snaps using NOKIA 6682; photos great but video small resolution, not enough to get that punch on any video sharing sites.

Eventhough, it’s a bit silly to climb tree and take photos, thought that getting closer to nature will make a person climb a tree today or tomorrow.

A question For you, what’s the tree that gives the most oxygen apart from Pine Trees ? Anyone knows this answer, please share it here. I want to climb that tree provided that wallet helps me with it!

These days I am hooked up with Youtube. Creating Videos is much more fun than working with website, really ? Have you tried it ? It’s like a drug, once you make one, you wanna make two.. .then three and more and more…

My message : Try making your OWN UNIQUE VIDEO. So it lasts long. Who knows may be laws will change and all vidoes that viloate copyright stuffs will be gone ? Think about the time you spend to create your video. It’s a lot. And when you upload, you expect the video to last long, don’t you. I feel that a video created by you, using your own resources such as images;audios;videos will last long!

Also try responding to videos. It’s a lot easier. For one thing, you already know the story. All you have to do is create your own version.
